The next single from the new Cher album will be "Take It Like A Man".
So far it seems that will be released in Germany on November 8th and November 11th in the US as a digital "release", but the cover art suggests that there will also be a 12"?
Hopefully it will be released on some physical format, especially since the "I Hope You Find It/"Woman's World" CD single has been selling quite well. The promo CD's from the album tend to go for silly money (I only just got the 1trk "Woman's World" promo CD today and I still need the remixes promo!). The album continues to do very well, staying in the UK Top 10 for a third week and continues to sell very well in the US.

Some news about "Take It Like A Man", from what I understood:
* it will be serviced to clubs shortly
* they have done a great remix of it, very disco meets Daft Punk
* there will be a collector 12 inch record in very, very limited edition, this item will be hugely collectable
* there will be a maxi CD single
There are a few other stuff coming in the CTTT era but can't tell now.

Cher was on Dancing With The Stars this week during a Cher Night, when all the dancers danced to her songs (including "Woman's World", "Bang Bang", "Turn Back Time", "Strong Enough" and "I Found Someone"). The diva was a guest judge and performed two songs: "Believe" and "I Hope You Find It".

SO glad to have Cher back, it's been way too long! Just hope the "Dressed To Kill Tour" will visit Europe...
Let's hope that Mr Shears gets his moment in the spotlight on at least one of the remixes - I can't deny, his vocal contribution is somewhat sparse on the album version (considering it's supposed to be a "duet")... Jx
Considering that I am not a big fan of Mr Shears, I find it a good thing that the song didn't really turn out to be a duet...
Ok so, got a listen. 'Over the top' is good, very minimal and not so over the top...but cher's vocals SHINE and it does have a throwback to disco feel! My fave is '7th Heaven'...Big Big Big sound...almost almightyish!

7th Heaven have been making quite a lot of Almightyish remixes lately so I'm not surprised that their mix is good. I will be making sure that the CD single and the 12" will find their way to the Galaxy as soon as they come out...
