Yes, Bananarama are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year! My favorite girl band of all times (well, after Diana Ross And The Supremes) have given us an awful lot of fun, cheesy, wedontgiveafuck, gay friendly singles, albums and videos during that time. Screw the bloody Spice Girls and the rest - Bananarama ruled then and they still do!
The girls are releasing a wonderful CD/DVD next month (which I have been overtly excited about on this blog over the past couple of days), and they are appearing at the Hit Factory concert in Hyde Park as well. WISH I could go see them!!!
