Tracks...

In what has become the longest time between posts since Barbarella's Galaxy started, it seems overdue to post one - and it's another selection of tracks that I am loving these days.

This lot includes two of the best music videos I have seen in a while - the latest ones from Madonna and Stromae.

Marc Almond (formerly of Soft Cell) released his biggest solo hit in 1992 (not counting his #1 Gene Pitney duet "Something's Gotten Hold Of My Heart" in 1989).

"The Days Of Pearly Spencer" peaked at #4 in the UK singles chart and was the last time to date that he had a Top 20 single in the country. While he has never really "fit in" the music scene, thankfully this excellent track became a big hit for him.
