While fans of Sandra wait for her new album to be officially announced, Blank & Jones are releasing a Sandra: 1984-1989 CD in their fantastic So-So 80s series.
Relased in Germany on April 13th, this will be a double CD - tracklist has not been made available yet. But these CD's include original extended mixes, and often some reconstructions by Blank & Jones as well. This one is going to my collection.

on the so8os label: SANDRA !
With over 30 million records sold worldwide,
she is the most succesful german female artist to date.
This double CD or extended digital download includes
all her original 12" extended versions from the 80s.
Starting with her career breaking "Maria Magdalena" ,
this selection features all the hits mastered for the first time
from the original master tapes.
Plus you will find a second disc with all b- sides
and rare mixes from Japan and UK, many of them on CD for the first time.
The booklet holds personal liner notes from Sandra herself
in english and german plus all original single artworks.
Enjoy this new milestone in the so8os artist series.
I am also dying to have the CD boxes they have been releasing. Vol 1-6 are a 3CD box set each and feature loads of fantastic extended mixes from musics best decade, including artists like Bananarama, Duran Duran, Kim Wilde, A-ha, The Human League, Visage, OMD, Spandau Ballet, Yazoo, Bryan Ferry, Alphaville, Culture Club, Erasure, Propganda and of course Sandra.
