Stay Another Day...
Speaking of East 17 in the prevous post... they have reformed again, this time with a new singer replacing founding member Brian Harvey. The new singer is a guy called Blair Dreelan, who was a member of boyband 4th Ba5e. He will join original members Tony Mortimer, John Hendy and Terry Coldwell in the new configuration. The original lineup sold more then 20 million copies worldwide and had 11 Top 10 hits in the UK.
The group will release a new single, ’Secret Of My Life’, later this month and tour the UK.
East 17 had 12 Top Ten hits between 1992 and 1998 and reformed with all four original members in 2006 for a one-off reunion show. After that they continued to tour as a three piece, with main songwriter Tony declining to take part. Most famously they played Glastonbury in 2009 as news of Michael Jackson's death filtered through the site.
Tour dates:
Glasgow 02 ABC2 (July 15)
Sheffield 02 Academy (16)
Liverpool 02 Academy (17)
Birmingham 02 Academy (20)
Oxford 02 Academy (21)
Bristol 02 Academy (22)
London 02 Academy Islington (26)

OMG, can't believe this, my young boyhood band releasing new material, arrgghhh. I am afraid to check it out, maybe it will be horrifying
Oh dear. They still look rough... And that "singer"? Ewww. Jx
PS Little-known fact about East 17 - they appeared as "carol singers" in the dreadfully amateurish "Camp Christmas" hosted by Andy Bell and Melissa Etheridge:

"Camp Christmas"? Oh dear - they should have filmed it my house instead ;)
That new "singer" looks very misplaced in the photos - havent watched the video yet. But he may be a (slightly) better choice then big mouth Brian with his constant drug problems...
hahahah the new member is so funny. I used to like them before. I heard the song. The new guy with this look and his voice.it's a missunderstanding. but ok he is cute and sexy
