KYLIE CHRISTMAS
Recorded at Angel Studios and Sarm Music
Village, the album features 13 tracks – including several duets and a mix of
original and classic songs.
Kylie has enlisted the help of her sister
Dannii Minogue for the deluxe version of the album, recording the brand new

on Yazoo’s brilliant 'Only You’, Iggy Pop joins Kylie on the Waitresses festive
hit, 'Christmas Wrapping’ while Frank Sinatra posthumously completes the roll

I always worry that when an artist does a Xmas album, their career is losing inspiration, somehow...
Jx
I have always wanted a Kylie christmas album and I'm sure this will be wonderful!
As for Kylie's career at the moment, her most recent releases have (mostly) not been that good and she is currently (I believe) without a record deal and a manager. Time seems right for her to do what she wants (those Garibay EP´s) and I think this christmas album might be a smart move. The girls who loved her back in the 80s are all grown up now and might not buy, say,Kiss Me Once - but might be tempted to buy a christmas album by their teen fave. Abbey Road did pretty well - sadly when artists reach "a certain age" they are "supposed" to revisit their classics and albums of duets, covers and christmas songs. They are not supposed to release albums like "Rebel Heart"! Sad but true...
Sad but true it may be, but this doesn't sound to me like it will be the kind of Kylie album that would be that popular with Our Princess's genuine fan-base. I mean... James Corden, FFS!? Jx
I agree, the general fan-base might not be too crazy about this project. But the people that haven´t bought a Kylie album since Fever might...
PS: I don't even know who James Corden is. Google tells me hes a comedian and television host - doesn´t sound terrible exciting...
In any case, I do love christmas albums in general so I remain excited :)
I suppose we can take meagre comfort in the fact the she hasn't stooped so low as to do covers of "Little Drummer Boy", "Wonderful Christmastime" or "What Can You Get a Wookie for Christmas (When He Already Owns a Comb?)". And it probably won't be as bad as Mariah Carey. Apart from that... Jx
Nothing my dear could EVER be as dreadful as that Carey woman screaming "festive" things - NOTHING!
"100 Degrees" is OFF THE HOOK!!! Best x-mas song EVER!!!
