Pet Shop Boys will perform at the closing ceremony of The Olympic Games in London on August 12th. They will be supported by The London Symphony Orchestra and will most likely perform their latest single, "Winner" (although there have been rumors going around that they will play "West End Girls").
Another single from their upcoming album will be serviced to radio at the end of August.

Not to mention the fact that they truly deserve to be a part of this, considering that they are one of the best/biggest acts to come from the UK and a lot of people all over the world really link them and their music to all things british. I am looking forward to their performance.
