Altogether, now...Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-BATMAN!
I loved it as a kid. I imagine it's pretty unwatchable nowadays. Jx
I'm sure the way over the top campness is enough to make it very enjoyable, all those years later. I loved the show as a kid too and have been hoping for a DVD release for years. I now what I will be watching this christmas ;)
It is funny: I knew Eartha Kitt, Liberace, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Anne Baxter, Vincent Price, Lesley Gore, Tallulah Bankhead and even Joan Collins were in it at various times - but it's only today I remembered that none other than The Merm herself (Ethel Merman) played a villainess called "Lola Lasagne"!
Camp? Never. Jx
