Single...

Erasure have confirmed that the first single from their forthcoming album 'Tomorrow's World' will be called 'When I Start To (Break It All Down)'. More news about release dates, formats, artwork and tracklisting for both the single and the album to follow... In the meantime, the duo has just released some very juicy re-releases of their first two albums, which I blogged about a while ago...

Sometimes - A Life of Love, Loss & Erasure

Last month saw the release of a new Erasure-releated book. Paul Hickey has been (and still is) Andy Bell's manager pretty much since the start of Erasure, and was also - for many years - Andy's partner. 'Sometimes - A Life of Love, Loss & Erasure' tells the story of Paul's life so far in a very honest and engaging way and, naturally, includes loads of insights into his personal and professional relationships with Andy and Erasure, plus tales from Paul's fascinating childhood and his more recent battle to recover from the series of strokes that left him paralysed a few years ago.

"Paul Hickey's account of his life with Andy Bell is unflinchingly honest and unashamedly romantic. ‘Sometimes’ is the true story of a gay love affair that survives and thrives despite the pressures of the music industry, through highs and lows, in sickness and in health. Sometimes moving, sometimes shocking, sometimes laugh-out-loud funny, it’s a warm, witty book that deserves a wide readership." - Paul Burston
