Back In Control...

Traci Lords is back - now with a new single titled “Last Drag”. The song is produced by Anton Bass & Konrad Carelli along with Tom Lord-Alge - and it has also received a killer remix from dance music icons Razor & Guido. Traci of course is known for her very high profile 80s career as a porn star - and later for (amongst other things) her apperances in films such as Cry Baby and Serial Mom.

Traci released a dance album titled 1000 Fires in March 1995 - her only album so far. It was produced by Juno Reactor and included the club hits “Control” and “Fallen Angel”.  IMO 1000 Fires is one of the most underrated dance albums of all time - it still sounds a lot fresher then most of the dance music from that time. It was certanly years ahead of its time!

There was some new music a few years ago (including the track below), but sadly no album.

Official release date for "Last Drag" has not been announced yet. A video for the single will premiere very soon.

It is always interesting to see what Ms. Lords is up to. I totally agree with you about her "1000 Fires" album being one of the most underrated dance album of all time. I remember playing it relentlessly when I bought it back in '97. I still love it to this day, and "Control" and "Fallen Angel" still sound fab all these years later
