"The Sign" by Ace of Base was released in October 1993. The single served as the intro for the "US Version" of their debut album Happy Nation.
It became a big international hit, reaching number two in the United Kingdom and the top spot in Australia, Germany, Canada, Italy and New Zealand. In the US the song spent six weeks as number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was the No. 1 song of 1994, according to Billboard magazine's year-end charts.
I have always had a soft spot for Ace Of Base and this song remains one of my favorites. I just can't believe it's been 20 years since I was obsessed with it!

Well I only had that moustache for that photo shoot we did, we didn't like it and stripped me of all hair right away ;)
Ah yes - the very painful trip to the spa (with full wax treatment). How could I forget - the screams still keep me awake at night ;)
