We are back in the 80s, and back in France for the Song Of The Day.
In February 1985 singer Jeanne Mas released the second single of her debut album. "Johnny, Johnny" became the biggest chart hit of her career, spending a month at #1 in France and selling close to 900.000 copies. The song was re-released in 2005 in a remixed form, marking the 20th anniversary of the song.

I don't think I've ever heard this before - in either version. I was trying to rack my brains as to whether or not I knew any of the musical output of Mademoiselle Jeanne Mas (as her name is so well known to me), and I admit that Toute Première Fois sounds familiar, but not so much that it made a hell of an impression... Jx
I don't remember hearing any of her material until I came across "Johnny, Johnny" a few months ago. But her name has always been very familiar, for some reason. She's not bad at all, but she seems to lack that "it"...
