The Australian pop princess is just one
behind Madonna when it comes to singles that have peaked at Number 2 (if you
count Madonna's feature on Britney's "Me Against The Music", which we do).
When we counted down Kylie's chart-toppers
last week, lots of you asked for sales of her Number 2s and we were more than
happy to oblige. We’ve crunched the numbers, scoured the archives and can now
present Kylie’s Number 2 hits ranked in sales order…

SALES: 150,000

CHART FACT: Kylie was leading sales most of
the week, until a huge sales increase on the Saturday sprang Yazz to the top of
the charts. She had to settle for Number 2, but it was still the highest entry
ever by a female artist on the UK charts at that time.

Kylie's new album Kiss Me Once has topped the Australian charts and made it's debut in Ireland at #4 (her highest position since Fever). In the UK it seems set to debut at #2 tomorrow.
