If You Feel Love...

Kylie Minogue is releasing a new single from her "Aphrodite" album - although sadly, it will be a digital only release. So this might be the first time ever I do not support a Kylie single (with "The One", at least I bought a promo CD - I doubt there will be any for this release).

The "Put Your Hands Up" EP will be available from June 5th in the UK and on May 31st in the US. It will include the amazing retro remix by Pete Hammond, as well as a brand new track called "Silence" (written and produced by Xenomania).

Tracklist:

1. Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love)
2. Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) [Pete Hammond Remix]
3. Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) [Basto's Major Mayhem Edit]
4. Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) [Live from Aphrodite - Les Folies]
5. Silence

Remix EP:

1. Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) [Nervo Hands Up Extended Club Mix]
2. Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) [Basto's Major Mayhem Mix]
3. Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) [Basto's Major Mayhem Dub]
4. Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) [Bimbo Jones Remix]
5. Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) [Pete Hammond Remix Edit]

And in other single news: Mylene Farmer has released the third official single from her massive hit album Bleu Noir. "Lonely Lisa" is co-produced and written by RedOne and just might become yet another number 1 single in France for the diva. A music video is expected to premiere soon.

The album has just been certified diamond in France for sales over 500.000 copies. It seems that miss Farmer can do no wrong in her home country these days!

It is a bizarre thing - Mylene Farmer sells billions in France yet no-one else across the world can ever understand why (myself included to a degree)... Jx

Actually, Mylene sells quite well on imports in various places of the world. The thing is that she just doesnt want to promote her music, do english interviews etc. She barely promotes her music in France, let alone in other countries. And the fact that 99% of her music is in french doesnt exactly help...

A lot of my friends who have heard her music like it a lot - but then there is always a comment like "does she only sing in french? She does? Ow well then, that's a shame..."

The first thing I did was watching a live DVD ("Mylenium Tour"), which blew me away! After that, it was very easy to get into her music.

She has become this almost mythical figure in France, which only seems to help her career. After the way the french have shown their love in the past for Dalida, I´m sure they will rename a city or two after Miss Farmer...

Like I have often said: if she wanted to make big outside of France, she would have done so - no question about it.

Believe me, I have tried my best with Mademoiselle Farmer, but she never quite captured my imagination in the way that Ysa Ferrer or (obviously) Dalida has! Jx
