Need any of the old Bette Midler albums? Well, a new boxset is coming out next week in the UK which includes four of her 70s albums, along with the soundtrack from The Rose. These will be released as 5 discs in cardboard sleeves. I have all the originals of course, but it would be nice if these were remastered (I wont hold my breath, but you never know...).

In other Bette news, the DVD from her Vegas show has now been released. And sadly, it is in fact the HBO version! That mean that more then 20 minutes are missing from the show (it is missing the Delores Delago, The Toast Of Chicago part of the show. Jon will be furious - and so am I!)
