29 Years To Get Here...
Tomorrow is the US release of the Diana Ross: Live In Central Park DVD!
One of the most legendary concerts of all time, it has taken 29 years to make it to DVD - but it is finally here! The DVD features the whole show that had to be stopped halfway through due to one of the worst thunderstorms to hit NYC, along with the complete concert she did the day after. There is also a commentary by the director and a written essay by Miss Ross herself.
The DVD will come out in the UK on May 28th.
A book about the event was released back in 2008, and here are some great articles about some of the things happening behind the scenes.

The DVD is a must, not only for fans of Miss Ross but for anyone interested in owning a piece of musical history. Treat yourself to some Ross magic ;)

Thanks for reminding me...will pick up in the AM ♥
I am really looking forward to this - Teddi got me a bootleg of this a few months ago but before I had the change to watch it the official release was announced, so I decided to wait for that (go figure - this isnt offically released for almost 30 years but as soon as I get my hands on a bootleg, it is!) ;)
