I love new discoveries...

Let's get the ones I don't like out of the way. Oh dear. One Direction. 'Nuff said. I was never a Michael Jackson fan, and I am still not - and sexy though he is, I can't bear Mr Trousersnake's musical (ahem) talents. Unsurprisingly, the combination of the two is not for me. And oh, Miss Lana del Rey - I am still not convinced by the woman, and this song is not helping...

Miss Elin Lanto sounds as if she's aiming for Eurovision; unfortunately with one of those breathy ballady songs from somewhere like Bosnia-Herzegovina that we always use as an excuse to top up our glasses while waiting for it to finish. And Miss Amos seems to morphing into Joni Mitchell rather than Kate Bush on this track. Not my cup of tea.

Royksopp and Robin?! Wow. The track's quite good, but somehow I expected a bit more from a combination of such fabulous talents. Our Princess Kylie's "I Was Gonna Cancel" is not my fave track from "Kiss Me Once". Catchy enough I suppose, but hardly likely to set the charts alight, methinks.

I adore Andy Bell, and this song, and Dave Aude - and loved seeing Andy himself sing it live, too! RuPaul's track is fierce campness of the first order. Love it. And the Boy George one is a real pick-me-up! So jolly. I want that sequin hat!!

Indiana's song is truly wonderful - ironically she's doing the stuff Robyn used to do, with shades of Miss Roisin Murphy thrown in!

But it seems it's a toss-up (fnaar fnaar) between two troupes of sexy Ukrainians for the top song of the selection... Which way to turn, when faced with such lovelies? Freak Ballet are indeed fab - I love this song, and their video. However, they are mere pretenders to the crown that truly belongs - as ever - to my houseboys Kazaky! I'd eat their Magic Pie. Of course.

Great finds, dearest! Jx

Hehehe - Yeah, I actually like One Direction (I even have their albums and Blu-Rays!). Shock, I know ;)

Justin bores me to death but I do like MJ and this track is a slice of vintage Michael (I prefer his solo version though, obviously).

Lana is Queen - one day you'll see ;) As for the princess, I'm afraid that IWGC only made it to #59 on the UK charts, mostly thanks to her limited CD and 7" releases that sold out very quickly. The video is really bad and the song is not a fave, but hey: it's Kylie!

I absolutely adore the Indiana track and yes, she really does remind me of Miss Murphy. As for the whole lot, that one along with Kazaky, RuPaul and of course Lana are my faves of the bunch!
