A Revisited Story?...
Rumor has it that Kate Bush is releasing a compilation CD/DVD later this year.
Nothing has been officially announced yet, but it is known that Kate shot a video with Jude Law in London recently, which is said to be for a 2012 version of "Running Up That Hill". EMI are involved and the package is said to be called Revisiting The Whole Story, featuring 22 tracks and 35 videos.
Now, time will tell if there is any truth in these rumors, but I think Kate is extremely overdue in releasing a compilation CD/DVD. The only one she has ever released was The Whole Story back in 1986 #1 in the UK). A VHS/LD was also released with her videos at the same time. After the dreadful Director's Cut I just hope she will NOT touch the songs from their original recordings!

I dread to think what Milady Kate will do with her back catalogue... The thought of a new version of my all-time favourite Running Up That Hill is enough to send me off screaming! Don't mess with perfection... Jx
I TRULY hope she will leave the tracks alone and just give us a long overdue, remastered singles compilation. We have a bootleg DVD of all her videos, would be great to get an official one as well.
BTW: did you ever get Director's Cut? I will never, ever play that again!
I agree that a DVD is well overdue, given her pioneering of that very art-form...
No, I never did get hold of a copy of Director's Cut, but I am about to remedy that. (I'll let you know my thoughts).
Jx
Please do - but don't say I didn't warn you... (50 Words For Snow was thankfully a bit better).
